Small Procedures
An excision is a minor surgical procedure used to remove a skin lesion or growth. It involves carefully cutting out the affected area, often along with a small margin of surrounding tissue, to ensure complete removal. The area is then typically closed with stitches to promote proper healing and achieve the best cosmetic result.

Our team evaluates the skin diagnosis, size, and location. Based on these conditions, the provider may opt to perform the removal in office or send patient to our facility in Beaumont, Texas for removal by board certified dermatologist Dr. Andrew Quinn. Excision is not complete the same day as initial consultation.
Excisions
For cases requiring more advanced surgical procedures, such as the MOHs, we provide continuity of care with board-certified dermatologist Dr. Andrew Quinn located at Quinn Dermatology in Beaumont and Houston.
What is the MOHs Procedure?
Mohs surgery is a precise skin cancer removal technique that removes cancer layer by layer, examining each layer under a microscope until all cancer cells are gone. It helps preserve as much healthy tissue as possible while achieving high cure rates.
