Dr. Andrew Quinn
Dr. Quinn was born and raised in Houston, TX.
After graduating from St. Thomas High School in 2008, Dr. Quinn attended Texas A&M University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences and Entomology in 2011. He then continued his medical education at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston (now known as McGovern Medical School) where he graduated in 2015.
During medical school, he developed an interest in dermatology due to the visual nature of the field and the spectrum of patients, including children and adults, for which dermatologists have the privilege to care. After medical school, he completed his internship and dermatology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2019. Dr. Quinn is a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Quinn's primary practice is at Quinn Dermatology in Beaumont and Houston, Texas. Through his partnership with Lakeside Dermatology, he is committed to providing patients with access to exceptional dermatologic care and innovative treatment options close to home.
In his free time, Dr. Quinn enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, trying new restaurants, and golfing.
Nurse Practitioner
Lauren Schaeffer, FNP-C
Lauren Schaeffer is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in dermatology and certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lamar University in 2017 and her Master of Science in Nursing from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2022. With more than eight years of experience in medical dermatology as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner, Lauren is dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care for a wide range of skin conditions.
She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners. Lauren’s goal is to provide accessible, high-quality dermatologic care while helping patients achieve healthy skin through education, prevention, and personalized treatment plans.
Away from dermatology, Lauren loves making the most of family time on the lake with her husband and child, enjoying the outdoors and everything East Texas has to offer.
